Blogyear Day 6: Exhausted!

I am so tired today.  My feet haven't hurt like this in such a long time.  I don't know why I feel so whiney right now, but I'm guessing working 12 hours yesterday is most of the reason.  On a happy note, I have the next 3 days off and I'm so excited to have a break!

Today is Sunday and you know what that means......Coupon day in the newspapers!  I don't know why, but I get such enjoyment looking through the ads for good deals.  Today I did very well.  I spent less than $40 for all of this stuff!

I know it may not look like a lot to some people, but some of these items are expensive!  I am so stoked to try the Aveeno shampoo!  It is normally about $7, but I got it for about $3!  There were also some really good sales at CVS and I can't wait to try out the stuff that I got and let you know what I think about them.  

As far as eating goes, here is what I had.

Breakfast
Sunshine Sandwich from Penny's ( sourdough bread, scrambled eggs, bacon, cheddar cheese, onions) with hashbrowns
Fit' n Fruitful Berry Blend from Jamba Juice (sixteen)

Lunch
well I had a late breakfast....hahaha

Snack
2 breadsticks

Dinner
Lean Cuisine Teriyaki Chicken
Carmel Sundae from McDonalds

Today I had quite a bit of food.  I woke up starving and my breakfast was soooooo delicious.  It had to have been a million calories, but it was amazing.  I actually really enjoyed my dinner today.  I like diet frozen meals.  I hadn't had this one before and it was really delicious.  What I liked most about it was that there was enough of the teriyaki sauce over everything so that I didn't need any soy sauce really.  Anyone that knows me will definitely tell you that I love my soy sauce.  And to top it off, it was only $1.98 at Food for Less!  What a steal :)  On the down side, I didn't do any exercise today.  I still need to improve on that.  I honestly have been improving on my eating, but I have to find it in me to push myself to work out.  I am the type of person that would rather play tennis for hours at a time than run.  So my challenge for tomorrow is to get up off my bootay and work out!  It's getting late, and I'm exhausted from work, its been a long 24 hours.

  1. What deals! Way to go on getting all that stuff cheap, especially the shampoo. Let me know how you like it. Make sure you're eating ALL meals every day! Otherwise your metabolism will slow down and you may end up losing some pounds on the scale but it won't be fat. Love you! - Nicole

  3. Ok, last comment for the day, sorry to bombard you! Do you need recipes for cheap, healthy, low calorie food? Do you have a slow cooker? It is AMAZING for cranking out food full of vitamins/nutrients in large portions so you can freeze some for later (make your own microwave dinner!) and you can make really low calorie food. LOVE YOU!
